This is Stephen “Night Train 357” Wilkes and like a lot of you out there I’m heart-broken, saddened, and enraged by not only what happened to George Floyd, but by countless Black and Brown brothers and sister that have been victim of racial injustice for too many years to count. This is nothing new! I don’t talk about it a lot, but as a victim of racial discrimination myself this really hurts. So, after you’ve posted, and shared, and protested. What do you do next?
Now more than ever we need to support small businesses, donate to causes, vote, recognize and talk about businesses and organizations that promote unity (Black, White, and Everybody), and support your local artists! This is how we build, grow, and set an example for the next generation.
